Today, the KJT is a service provided by CJF L\u00ebtzebuerg a.s.b.l.. The KJT foundation was established in 1992, under the name “Kannersuergentelefon”, within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. KJT gives every child and every young person the opportunity to be heard.<\/p>\n

KJT is funded through a convention with SNJ (Service National de la Jeunesse) the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth (Ministerial Approval CAMF CSF AI 202504\/01 and CAMF FSE AI 202504\/01 ).[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_custom_heading text=”Our mission” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]KJT gives every child and every young person an opportunity to be heard, it not only advises and supports them but also anyone who is involved with them, in their daily concerns, questions, fears and problems and also during times of crisis.<\/p>\n

Each child and adolescent can speak directly to specially trained counsellors. During counselling, we work out customised solutions for each person who contacts us and we also help them implement these. If it is required we can also refer the person to other institutions to seek further guidance.<\/p>\n
